Looks like this blog is not as interesting as it aimed to be. The contributors have almost stopped just a well as the articles are slow being uploaded into the blog.

Opening a blog, required dedication to almost the point of over zealousness, as without this “love” it will be a matter of time it will crawl to its own demise.

    My 2 sen worth.

    1. Put in articles that will attract attention, e.g Tinted Glass or the HID lights issues

    2. AVOID rules explanation or things similar to that nature

    3. The web administrator or his/her assistant must LOVE doing the blog and not merely doing it for the pay (as will happen with most Govt web pages, an example is the PMO web page that got hacked recently, the web admin only found out after someone called the Government)

    4. Monitoring must be done non-stop daily or even hourly.

    5. Think as a NGO rather then a Govt Agency

Cheers & may this blog last the test of time

    Hello tok-guru,

Thank you for your valuable input. You just gave us an idea on how to circumvent some of the restrictions we’re facing. Perhaps it is time for panducermat to grow up and walk on its own.

What can we do outside the road..Even our enforcement on-duty don’t bother it and let the rempit spin here and there..Don’t believe it come and see it yourself. Location Klang towards Port Klang every saturday midnight around 1am. Road name Persiaran Raja Muda Musa. What you need to do is just sit at a stall with a drink and you can see ALL THE REMPIT and even 2 Petrol Car on-duty park their car at Petronas Gas Station chatting with each other. How to stop all this maniac ?

admin: It is easy to let the fingers run free and type behind a computer. As for the truth, only the writer of this comment will know. For me, comments like above needs to be taken with a handful of salt and requires solid proof to highlight the wrong-doing of our Malaysian sons in blue.

If I were you, i would gather proof and tell the world!

    Hi everybody,

Is this site dedicated to people who drive cars only or all motorists?

I drive my car to work but I use a bike to get to it sometimes bcoz I am bored of the jam. Like most of my friends, safety is an absolute must. Last year I bought an expensive Japanese made helmet. I bought it because the cheap Malaysian ones kept making weird noises and is heavier too.

I heard recently JKJR announced that all helmets without SIRIM certification are to be confiscated. Is this true?

What is the basis of this law/bylaw? Doesn’t international accreditation sufficient or is Sirim’s better?

By the way, there isn’t enough info on JKJR’s website about helmets. But I heard that enforcement has already been carried out.

    ********
admin: When it comes to specific law enforcement, best you check with JPJ to find out about this. Please remember that those half helmets (helmet kura kura) is banned totally irregardless what standard/certification it has. As for helmets that does have some kind of certification, best verify with JPJ if its equivalent to our SIRIM standard or not.

One of the primary reason for the ban of half helmet due to its design of not fully covering/protecting the head (the lower portion at the back of your head).
